Walk With Warriors is to bring men together in fellowship while walking the incredible trials we have locally.
As a wilderness guy, one of the greatest experiences in the backcountry is a campfire with other mighty men. The simple act of gathering around a fire cultivates a bond that breaks through the normal limits of society. It is a deeper connection, without walls and pretenses. There is something about fire that heals the soul. Far too many souls are in need of healing today. Not enough “fires” are being lit, cultivated and stoked for men to gather around.
The result is men are changed, families are changed, cultures are changed.
Men, I want to invite you to join me as I “hit the trail” to hear from God, to dream and strategize. To seek out wisdom from other men who have walked before me. We’ll pray for one another, encourage and uplift one another, hold each other accountable and cultivate those battle forged friendships that we all need in life.
What are you waiting for?
The goal is to gather together at various trails locally and spend about an hour walking, talking, and even some “trail exercises” along the way.
We’ll strengthen our bodies, minds and spirits so that we can be the men God created us to be to our families and communities.
Wear comfortable hiking shoes or boots, a small backpack might be needed depending on weather. Make sure to have ample water and a small snack for energy. Be sure to check the weather the day of to dress appropriately. We have very sudden weather changes here in Colorado and need to be prepared.
*Trail Guides will have first aid kits if necessary.
Locations will be announced in advance so travel and timing can be arranged.
“Wisdom is the warrior’s greatest weapon. When you have wisdom, you are never unarmed, you are never defenseless, and you are never powerless. You need skill to know how to shoot an arrow straight, but only wisdom can teach you how to never need to shoot it.”
